Hank Phillipi Ryan’s new psychological thriller is chock-full of twists and turns that are guaranteed to give you insomnia. What could keep a mother from her daughter? Eliza and Piper seem to be the only ones concerned about Bea. This lack of concern adds to Eliza’s apprehension. Is she the only one concerned about her sister’s disappearance?

This seems like a simple thriller. Missing sister/mother. Younger sister investigates the disappearance. If you have ever read anything by Hank Phillippi Ryan, you will know how wrong this assessment is. Eliza is determined to find her sister and keep Piper safe. What has happened to Bea? Why isn’t she returning messages? Why would she miss picking up her daughter? So many questions will occur as you read this book. The answers are not straightforward at all. Think you know what’s going on? Nope. Turn the page. See? Another twist!

The ending is indescribable. Only a skilled author could take these random threads and unite them into such a shocking ending. Any thriller or psychological thriller fan will love this book. Twists and turns aplenty, quick pace, and fantastic characters make this thriller a must-read.
